Frank Keener & Mindi White
Mindi was ready to get out of the corporate world, so she and Frank were looking for a good business opportunity – they decided to purchase this long-time Ashland establishment because Frank had always wanted to own the local “hot dog stand.”
They were both born and raised here in Ashland. Frank is a full-time farmer, raising grain and chickens. He has three sons, a daughter-in-law, and two granddaughters. Mindi is an aunt to six and enjoys watching them in their activities. When they have free time, Frank and Mindi enjoy tractor pulling, golfing, and listening to their favorite band, Tom’s Kitchen Table. Since the business takes up a great deal of their time, although Mindi enjoys cooking, during season you will find them grabbing a great meal and drinks at Uniontown or Tacos and Tequila here in town…if, of course, they aren’t having coneys at the Ashland-Wooster Drive-In. In the off season, they enjoy time with family and traveling to warmer climates.
Frank and Mindi are very grateful to their staff and the community for supporting them as the new owners of this nostalgic Ashland business. They are blessed to call Ashland home.
